A person’s exploits can be determined by referring to a place, location, situation, a position of which one occupies or an array of variables to fit the particular things God wants for us and God wants us to perform.
The words “exploits” and “success” is often used interchangeably. Viewpoints to describe exploits relate to prestige, pleasure and peculiarity. Doing exploits or attaining success in life is beyond making money and success in life is unquantifiable. John D Rockefeller made many millions that did not bring him happiness and Henry Williams made over $2 million that did not bring him joy. These two, and other movers and shakers of life could not get what money had to offer in terms of joy nor did it bring them the quality of life they aspired for.
Success in terms of a position is a question each of us has to answer. The questions one should ask of themselves are:
- Do your children that you have raised tell your success story?
- How is your life rich and fulfilling?
- What input have you had in the lives of other people?
- Do you have meaningful relationship with other people?
- How is your marital life?
Finally, ask yourself what difference have you made to ensure that there is a progression towards the realization and initialization of what God wants in your life! Our position determines our location and this comes about in phases. Reaching exploits is a process or a journey and it requires a conscientious effort on our part. Exploits are relative to everyone and it comes about in different ways. It is a journey and we must get to our position to the exploits that God intends for us to achieve.
The best time to take action is now. Every day brings a subtraction to the time you have to carry out your exploits in life. Life is like a lighted candle and once lit, – it is burning continually and will one day stop. Therefore, take action and do something. A day gone by cannot be regained. (To be continued next week.)
